영문 초록

(Purpose) This study attempted to propose a self-reliance plan centered on ICC by analyzing the number of establishments, major achievements, specialization topics, and activities of the university's industry cooperation center (ICC) based on the LINC+ project performance report. (Design/methodology/approach) To this end, the 5th year report of the university that carried out the social-customized industry-academic cooperation leading university (LINC+) development project was intensively analyzed. (Findings/Research implications or Originality) The implications of the research results are that, first, conditions have been prepared to find ways to make universities independent based on the ICC. Second, ICC-based activities are being conducted in a wide variety of ways. Third, analyzing ICC specialized fields shows that it is a current industry and a future-oriented industry, so it can operate as a driving force for government policy as well as development of Korea's industrial field based on ICC. Third, ICC-based major achievements are significantly contributing to the core achievements of industry-academic cooperation of universities, suggesting that industry-academic education and industry support can be sufficiently provided if universities use ICC properly. Fourth, research shows that the government's ICC-based self-reliance and activities to revitalize them are appropriate, but when forming an ICC-based consultative body, it is recommended to form a subject-oriented consultative body rather than a regional-centered consultative body, so that mutual synergy can be created.
