영문 초록

This study was conducted in the necessity of academic research to find alternatives to revitalize the Nodeul Island complex cultural space representing the public complex cultural space of Seoul. The following is a summary of the significant results derived through empirical analysis. First, the establishment of the identity of the node island was derived as the biggest factor affecting the activation of the node island. Second, improvement in traffic conditions was derived as an important factor affecting the activation of Nodeul Island. Third, it was found that the improvement of existing facilities had little influence on the activation of Nodeul Island. The implications of the policy points for revitalizing Nodeul Island in Seoul were suggested as follows. First, in order to revitalize Nodeul Island, it is necessary to reestablish the identity of Nodeul Island first, and it is necessary to utilize Nodeul Island according to the results. Second, in order to revitalize Nodeul Island, it is necessary to drastically improve the traffic environment to improve the accessibility of Nodeul Island. Third, in order to activate the node island, the node island function and role must be reset. This study is of academic significance in that it attempted a study to derive activation factors for Seoul citizens by setting the Nodeul Island complex cultural space that needs improvement due to the current inactivation problem.
