영문 초록

This study attempted to investigate i) the influence of satisfaction with beauty leisure activities on quality of life and successful aging, ii) the effects of successful aging on quality of life and iii) the mediating role of successful aging in relationships between satisfaction with beauty leisure activities and quality of life. For this, a self-administered questionnaire survey was performed against adult women aged 40 or older from across the country from January 5 to February 13, 2022. Among a total of 350 questionnaires distributed, 349 copies were used for final analysis. The collected data were analyzed, using SPSS 26. First, satisfaction with beauty leisure activities had a statistically significant influence on quality of life. Second, satisfaction with beauty leisure activities revealed a statistically significant effect on successful aging. Third, successful aging affected quality of life with statistical significance. Fourth, successful aging showed a mediating effect on satisfaction with beauty leisure activities and quality of life.
