In this research, ground personnel air navigators were observed and an empirical analysis was conducted. The results were as follows: (1) Among the four mentoring functions, the analysis revealed that there is a relationship between the psychological and career development functions in role conflicts; and (2) The analysis likewise revealed that there is also a relationship between the career development and protection support functions in role ambiguity.
