The study examines the effect of job insecurity perceived by flight attendant on job stress and organizational commitment, and the moderating effect of organizational trust with regard to the influence of job insecurity on job stress and organizational commitment. In terms of the subjects, the study set male and female flight attendants working at main domestic full service carrier, domestic low-cost airlines, and foreign airlines. From September 28 to October 25, 2020, the research was conducted online through Google questionnaire form, and a total of 129 surveys were used for analysis. As for empirical analysis, SPSS 23.0 statistical package was utilized.
The research results confirmed through hypothesis verification are as follows. First, it was discovered that the job insecurity of flight attendants had a positive (+) effect on job stress. Second, it was found that the job instability of flight attendants had a negative (-) effect on organizational commitment. Third, it was found that organizational trust plays a moderating effect in the influence of the flight attendants’ job instability on job stress and organizational commitment.
