장애대학생의 그릿과 진로준비행동의 관계 분석

국문 초록

목적 이 연구는 장애대학생의 그릿과 진로준비행동의 관계를 실증적으로 파악하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 D 대학에 재학 중인 장애대학생 118명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 개별 학생의 인구통계학적 특성에 따른 그릿과 진로준비행동 점수를 측정한 자료를 상관관계분석(Correlation Analysis), 다중회귀분석(Multiple Regression Analysis)을 실시하여 검증하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 나타난 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 결과 첫째, 장애대학생의 성별, 학년, 장애영역에 따라 그릿과 준비행동에 있어서 차이가 나타났다. 둘째, 그릿과 진로준비행동의 상관관계에 있어서 모두 정적인 상관관계가 나타나지 않았다. 셋째, 지속적인 관심과 꾸준한 노력에 따른 장애대학생의 높은 그릿이 진로준비행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이와 같은 연구 결과를 일반대학생을 대상으로 한 선행연구와 비교·논의하였으며, 장애대학생의 대학생활 성공을 위해 고려해야 할 요인을 중심으로 제언 및 후속 연구의 방향을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the correlation and predictive relationship between GRIT (Growth, Resilience, Intrinsic motivation, and tenacity) scores and the level of career preparation behavior of college students with disabilities in Korea. Methods Two measures, the Short GRIT Scale (GRIT-S) and the career preparation behavior scale, were used to collect score data of 118 college students with disabilities at D University. The researchers analyzed the data using Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis. Results This study’s findings showed that 1) There were differences in the scores of GRIT and career behavior preparation depending on gender, year(s) of study, and disability category, 2) Positive correlations existed between partial GRIT and career preparation behavior scores, and 3) Higher GRIT scores predicted positive career preparation behavior, which explained 20.5% of the total variance. Conclusions Based on the findings, the researchers discussed influencing factors of individualized support programs for the success of students with disabilities in higher education.
