국어교육에서 연계성의 개념과 양상

국문 초록

본고는 국어교육학계 내에서 사용되고 있는 연계성이라는 개념에 대한 정립과 아울러 그 다양한 모습을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 연계성이란 어떤 한 대상이나 또는 둘 이상의 대상이 내적인 구성 요소들끼리 또는 어떤 외적인 연결체를 통하여 다른 대상과 상관관계를 맺고 하나의 구성체로서 작동할 수 있는 성질이고, 이 연계성을 한 대상 내부에서 작동하는 내적 연계성(계속성, 계열성)과, 둘 이상의 대상에서 작동하는 외적 연계성(연결성)으로 구분하였다. 또한 교육과정의 각 구성 체계 속에서 연계성의 모습을 탐색해 보았다. 즉, 교육과정의 성격, 목표, 내용 체계, 방법, 평가 측면에서 특히 문법 영역을 중심으로 연계성을 찾아보았다. 대체적으로 ‘이해, 탐구, 통합, 활용, 적용’ 등의 용어를 통하여 교육과정 속에서도 내적 연계성과 외적 연계성을 확보할 수 있었다. 그리고 새로 집필한 서울시 교육감 인정 중학교 『문법』(2009) 교과서와 현행 고등학교 『문법』 교과서를 비교하면서 연계성을 살펴보았는데, 단원 구성 체계, 소단원의 학습 내용, 목차 구성 등에서 중학교 『문법』 교과서가 고등학교 『문법』 교과서보다 더욱 내적 연계성을 확보하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This paper is a discussion about the concept and aspect of ‘Networkness’ in Korean education. Networkness is that one or more things interrelated with inner constituents and one interrelated with the other through a external linkage. And Networkness will be able to work this thing at a construct. And then It divided into two components. That is, one is Internal Networkness(continuity, sequence), another is External Networkness(connectedness). I searched an aspect of Networkness in Korean Language Curriculum. Grnarally speaking, I could see that Networkness was maintained through “understanding(이해), exploation(탐구), integration(통합), practical using(활용), application(적용)” in Korean Language Curriculum. And I made a comparison between middle school grammar textbook and high school grammar textbook. Through it, I seen an aspect of Networkness in a grammar textbooks. I understood that middle school grammar textbook more than high school grammar textbook was keeping up the Internal Networkness.
