문법 교육과 관련된 탐구 학습의 문제점과 개선 방안

국문 초록

본고는 국어과 문법 영역의 교수-학습 방법으로 흔히 논의되고 있는 탐구학습의 문제점을 밝히고 이에 대한 대안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 탐구 학습은 문법 영역의 대표적인 교수-학습 방법이라 할 수 있으나 탐구 학습이 가능한 문법 교육의 내용에는 일정한 제한이 있고, 적절한 전제 조건이 제공되어야 한다. 그럼에도 불구하고 탐구 학습은 여전히 문법 교육 개선을 위한 대단히 중요한 방법이라는 점을 무시할 수 없다. 문법 교육에서의 탐구 학습 방법을 정착시키기 위해서는 문법 지식을 상대적 지식으로서 인정하는 인식의 변화, 탐구 학습의 단계와 과정의 단순화, 국어사전(특히 웹기반 사전이나 전자사전)을 통한 문법 교육, 탐구 학습을 반영한 평가 문항 개발, 관찰법이나 자기평가, 동료 평가를 통한 수행 평가 방법 등이 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the problems of inquiry instruction and to search the alternatives. Inquiry instruction is the representative teaching-learning method in grammar education. But it has restrictions in learning contents of grammar and it can be realized with appropriate preconditions. In spit of these problems, inquiry instruction is a very important teaching-learning method for reforming grammar education yet. For settling inquiry instruction, it is necessary to change the awareness of that grammartical knowledge is not change, to simplify steps and processes of inquiry instruction, to develop the learning method using Korean dictionary, and develop performace test using observation, self-evaluation and fellow-evaluation.
