국문 초록

본고의 목적은 도시와 농촌 지역 중학생들의 쓰기 능력을 비교 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 설명문 쓰기 수행의 인지 요인에 주안점을 두었고 요인별로 검사를 실시하였다. 도시와 농촌 지역 중학생들의 차이를 파악하기 위하여, 요인들을 내용, 조직, 표현, 단어 선택, 형식 및 어법으로 나누어 이들의 쓰기 능력을 조사하였다. 그리고 도시와 농촌 학생들의 쓰기 능력 차이를 수준으로 나누어 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 도시 지역의 학생들이 농촌 지역 학생들 평균 점수보다 더 높았고 이것은 유의미 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 내용과 조직 요인을 제외한 나머지 요인에서, 도시 지역 학생들이 농촌 지역 학생들의 평균 점수보다 더 높았고 이는 유의미하였다.

영문 초록

The aim of this research is to analyse the writing ability of middle school students living the urban and rural in each. Especially, it is focused on cognitive factors in informational text writing performance and examined these factors. To find the difference correctly, I divided these factors with content, organization, expression, word choice, form and convention, then research the writing ability of middle school students living the urban and rural in each factors. Rather, I analysed difference of urban students' writing and rural students' writing as level of writing ability. The result are following. First, urban students' mean score was higher than rural students' in middle school students' informational writing, there was statistically significant difference in these groups. Second, in the other cognitive factor, not context and organization, urban students' mean score was higher than rural students', that difference was statistically significant.
