국문 초록

본고는 문법교육 주체 중에서도 문법 학습자에 주목한 연구로서, 문법 학습 촉진 요인이 학습자의 문법 학습 경험 맥락에 따라 가변성을 가지는 것임을 밝히고자 하였다. 즉, 본고는 문법 학습 촉진 요인의 목록화를 위한 전제적 사실을 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 성공적으로 문법을 학습하여 좋은 성과를 거둔 학습자의 문법 학습 경험을 분석하여, 문법 학습 촉진 요인이 맥락에 따라 보편성과 특수성이 교직된 양상으로 구성됨을 논의하였다. 이러한 결과는 교실에서 만나는 학습자의 ‘지금 현재’ 맥락을 교육적으로 포착하고 가공하는 작업이 문법교육에서 매우 중요하다는 점을 알려준다.

영문 초록

Among many agents of grammar education, the main focus of the present study is given to grammar learners. Although the educational limitation that grammar teaching in the classroom has been weakened to a serious point appears to be conspicuous, research about the educational environment which promotes learners to experience meaningful grammar activities and achieve positive cognitive and affective results is still necessary. In fact, this study aims to elucidate that the facilitator of grammar learning varies according to the context of the learner’s experience. The goal of the study is to discover prerequisite facts needed to make the lists of grammar learning facilitator and clarify their realistic features. So the study analyzes the grammar learning experiences of successful and advanced grammar learners, then it argues that the facilitating factors are interconnected into a complex fabric of the contexts. The results hints that it is highly important in grammar teaching to catch ‘the present’ context of the learners participating in the classroom and transform it into more educational entity.
