영문 초록

This study is the qualitative research focusing on how tourism information has been formulated and what is the responsive task of tourism information of Kore in the future. To begin with, this study unfolds the tourism history of Western world as they took advantage of using the computer earlier than Korea. Similarly, the study examines the on and off-line tourism history at that time in Korea. It is generally divided into a case study and the age of the Western world, and then spreaded out in the form of discussing and analysing of the tourism information age in Korea since 1950. Especially, the tourism information in Korea has been developed with the advent of the computer and the internet just like in the Western world. The study further attempts to focus on some critical issues as a result of a definite development in the field of tourism information of Korea in the 1990s.
