영문 초록

『Silent Spring』 shows the contrasting appearance of the beautiful environment of a place in an instant and informs readers of the danger by informing them that the cause is the chemical substance of the pesticide. In the process, it showed various aspects of the wildlife world being destroyed by pesticides, and at the same time, it reminded us of the problems in our behavior. In particular, he persistently pointed out that the government, which sprayed pesticides despite the protests of ordinary citizens, and the companies that did not inform the general public of the danger, tried to respond only after suffering numerous deaths like ‘laboratory rats’. Through these situations, it was once again asserted that we should be vigilant and fight against irresponsible human behavior. The subject of this article is clear. It means that we should pay attention to the factors of environmental destruction and thoroughly prepare for the problems that will arise in the future. Not only for us, but also for our descendants.
