여성결혼이민자의 구어 어휘 사용 연구

국문 초록

목적 : 본 연구의 목적은 여성결혼이민자의 거주기간과 학습기간이 구어 어휘 습득 및 사용에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 방법 : 여성결혼이민자 대상 1:1 인터뷰 자료를 통해서 자발화표본 100개를 추출하였다. 어휘 사용 측정은 어휘 복잡성의 하위 범주인 어휘다양도, 어휘밀도, 어휘세련도를 기준으로 측정하였다. 이후 SPSS Ver.21를 활용하여 여성결혼이민자의 어휘 사용이 거주기간 및 학습기간과의 상관관계를 분석하였다. 결과 : 여성결혼이민자의 거주기간은 어휘 사용량에 영향을 미치고 있었고, 학습기간은 어휘다양도의 D- Value, 어휘밀도의 기능어휘에 영향을 미치고 있었다. 결론 : 거주기간과 학습기간은 모두 여성결혼이민자의 어휘 사용에 영향을 주는 것이 명백하다. 이에 여성결혼이민자의 거주기간이 장기화 될수록 언어 학습도 지속적으로 이루어질 수 있는 교육 기반이 마련되어야 한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to reveal the effects of length of residence and length of study on the acquisition and use of spoken vocabulary of immigrants. Methods: After extracting 100 spontaneous speech samples from 1:1 interview data with immigrants, the lexical use was measured on the basis of sub-categories of lexical richness such as lexical variation, lexical density, and lexical sophistication. After that, using the SPSS Ver.21, the correlations of lexical use, length of residence, and length of learning of immigrants were analyzed. Results: The lexical amount used was increased according to the length of residence of immigrants. On the other hand, the length of learning had effects on the D-Value of lexical variation, and functional vocabulary of lexical density. Conclusion: It is clear that the length of residence and length of learning have effects on the acquisition and use of language. Thus, it would be necessary to establish the educational foundation for continuously providing the language learning following the prolonged length of residence of im- migrants.
