국문 초록

목적 : 이 연구는 학습자의 주체적인 뉴스 수용 능력을 신장시키기 위하여 카드뉴스를 활용한 뉴스 리터러시 교육 활동을 구안하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 : 카드뉴스의 특성 및 교육과정을 살펴보고, 뉴스에 대한 비판적 이해와 평가를 위해 스토니브룩 대학의 뉴스 리터러시 해체 워크북을 탐색해봄으로써 2015 교육과정과 접목할 수 있는 방안을 마련한다. 결과 : 카드뉴스를 활용한 뉴스 리터러시 교육 활동으로 카드뉴스 분석 질문을 통한 카드뉴스의 특성 탐색하기, 카드뉴스 분석하기, 카드뉴스 비교·평가하기를 제안한다. 결론 : 카드뉴스는 초등학교 학습자들의 흥미와 수준을 고려한 뉴스 리터러시 교육에 활용될 수 있다.

영문 초록

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to devise a news literacy education activity using card news in order to enhance the subjective ability of learners to accept news. Methods : In order to accomplish this research purpose, examining the characteristics and curriculum of card news, and exploring Stony Brook University's News Literacy Dismantlement Workbook for critical understanding and evaluation of the news, thereby preparing a plan that can be combined with the 2015 curriculum.. Results : As a news literacy educational activity using card news, it is proposed to explore the chara- cteristics of card news, to analyze card news, and to compare and evaluate card news, through card news analysis questions. Conclusion : Card news can be used for news literacy education that considers the interest and level of elementary school learners.
