COVID-19 팬데믹 상황을 경험한 간호대학생의 간호사 이미지와 전공만족도의 관계에서 소명의식의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 COVID-19 팬데믹 상황을 경험한 간호대학생의 간호사 이미지, 소명의식, 전공만족도의 정도를 파악하고, 간호사 이미지와 전공만족도의 관계에서 소명의식의 매개효과를 확인하고자 실시된 서술적 조사연구이다. 방법 본 연구의 대상자는 G도 소재 1개 대학교에 재학 중인 1~4학년 간호대학생 174명이다. 자료수집은 2021년 11월 22일부터 25일까지 실시되었다. 자료분석은 SPSS 24.0 Program을 이용하여 실수, 백분율, 평균, 표준편차, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Correlation coefficient로 분석하였으며, 소명의식의 매개효과를 확인하기 위해서는 Baron과 Kenny의 3단계 회귀분석방법과 Sobel test를 이용하였다. 결과 본 연구결과 COVID-19 팬데믹 상황을 경험한 간호대학생의 전공만족도는 간호사 이미지(r=.67, p<.001)와 소명의식(r=.51, p<.001)과 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였으며, 소명의식은 간호사 이미지(r=.48, p<.001)와 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 매개효과를 분석한 결과, 간호대학생의 간호사 이미지와 전공만족도의 관계에서 소명의식은 유의한 부분 매개효과(Z=3.79, p<.001)가 있음을 확인하였다. 결론 본 연구 결과를 통해 COVID-19 팬데믹 상황을 경험한 간호대학생의 간호사 이미지는 소명의식을 매개로 전공만족도에 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 간호사의 이미지 향상과 간호전문직에 대한 소명의식을 고취시킬 수 있는 내용을 포함한 간호 교육 프로그램의 개발 및 적용은 궁극적으로 간호대학생의 전공만족도 증진에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purposes of this study were to identify the mediating effects of consciousness of calling on the relationship between nurse’s image and major satisfaction among nursing students who experienced the COVID-19 Pandemic. Methods The research design for this study was a descriptive survey using convenience sampling. Data collection was done using online questionnaires completed by 174 nursing students in G city from November 22 to 25, 2021. Date were analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation coefficient using SPSS 24.0 Program. Mediation analysis was performed according to the three-step regression analysis using Baron and Kenny’s method and Sobel test. Results There were significant positive correlations for nurse’s image and consciousness of calling with major satisfaction. consciousness of calling showed a partial mediating effects in the relationship between nurse’s image and major satisfaction. Conclusions In this study, nurse’s image of nursing students who experienced the COVID-19 Pandemic had significant influences on nursing students’ major satisfaction via consciousness of calling. This results suggest that strategies for enhancing major satisfaction for nursing students, nursing education programs need to include factors that improve nurse’s image and consciousness of calling.
