국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 다문화 청소년의 학업중단위험요인과 진로결정성의 관계를 살펴보고, 사회적지지가 학업중단위험요인과 진로결정성 간의 관계에서 조절효과는 어떠한지 검증하였다. 방법 본 연구는 한국청소년정책연구원의 다문화청소년패널조사의 종단연구 자료 중 초등학교 4학년을 대상으로 조사한 6차년도(2016년)에 참여한 1,635명의 중학교 3학년 자료에서 결측치를 제외한 1,329명의 자료를 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 분석은 SPSS 18.0프로그램을 활용하였으며, 인구사회학적 특성과 변수들의 평균과 표준편차를 확인을 위해 기술통계분석을 실시하고, 다중공선성 진단을 위해 피어슨상관관계 분석을 하였다. 조절변수인 사회적지지의 조절효과 분석을 위한 위계적 회귀분석과 조절효과를 구체적으로 살펴보기 위해 조절변수의 표준화점수에서 ±1SD과 평균의 기울기의 유의성을 검증하고 이를 도식화하였다. 결과 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화 청소년의 학업중단위험요인은 진로결정성에 부적(-) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적지지인 가족지지, 교사지지, 친구지지는 다문화 청소년의 진로결정성에 정적(+) 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 가족지지와 교사지지는 학업중단위험요인과 진로결정성의 관계에서 진로결정성을 보호하는 조절효과인 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 연구결과를 토대로 다문화 청소년의 진로결정성을 강화시키기 위한 사회복지적 개입방안을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examined the relationship between the risk factors of academic interruption and career decisions of multicultural adolescents, and verified the moderating effect of social support in the relationship between the risk factors of academic interruption and career decisions. Methods Ihis study used data from 1,635 middle school seniors who participated in the 6th year (2016) among the longitudinal data of the multicultural youth panel survey of the Korea Youth Policy Institute, excluding missing values, for the final analysis. The SPSS 18.0 program was used for the analysis, and descriptive statistical analysis was conducted to confirm the mean and standard deviation of demographic characteristics and variables, and Pearson correlation analysis was conducted to diagnose multicollinearity. In order to examine the hierarchical regression analysis and the moderating effect specifically for the analysis of the moderating variable social support, the significance of ±1SD and the slope of the mean in the standardized score of the moderating variable was verified and schematized.. Results The main results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the risk factor for interruption of study among multicultural adolescents had a negative (-) effect on career decisions. Second, it was found that family support, teacher support, and friend support, which are social supports, had a positive (+) effect on the career decision of multicultural adolescents. Third, it was confirmed that family support and teacher support were the moderating effects of career decision protection in the relationship between the risk factors for academic interruption and career decision-making. Conclusions Based on the research results, social welfare intervention measures were proposed to strengthen the career decision-making of multicultural adolescents.
