영문 초록

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of management value, direct supervisor, communication, education and training, and safety regulation, which are determinants of the logistics safety climate, on logistics safety behaviors such as safety compliance and safety participation, and to present implications for improving logistics safety. Design/Methodology/Approach - A research model was established based on previous studies on safety climate and safety behavior, and research hypotheses were presented. In addition, a survey was conducted for employees of logistics companies. Using SPSS 24.0, factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were performed to analyze the relationship between the logistics safety climate and logistics safety behavior. Findings - As a result of the analysis, the determinants of the logistics safety climate, such as management value, direct supervisor, communication, education and training, and safety regulation, all had a significant effect on logistics safety compliance. Direct supervisor, communication, and safety regulation had a meaningful effect on logistics safety participation, but management value and education and training did not have a significant effect. Research Implications - In order to improve logistics safety performance, the CEO's interest and support for logistics safety, safety practices of direct supervisor, active company-wide communication, continuous education and training, and the institutionalization of logistics safety regulations are necessary.
