상지 로봇치료가 뇌졸중 환자의 인지기능과 일상생활동작에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

목적: 본 연구의 목적은 상지로봇치료가 인지기능 개선과 일상생활동작에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 총 20명의 뇌졸중 환자가 모집되었다. 환자는 각각10명씩 실험군과 대조군으로 배정되었다. 실험군은 상지로봇치료와 일반적인 재활치료를 함께 받았으며, 대조군은 일반적인 재활치료를 받았다. 중재시간은 60분간 진행되었으며 주5회 60분씩 8주간 시행하였다. 치료 전후 변화를 알아보기 위해 Mini-Mental State Examination Modified-K (MMSEK) K-Barthel Index (K-MBI), Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA) 를 이용하여 측정하였다. 결과: 8주간의 중재 후 상지로봇치료 훈련에서 MMSE-K (p=.011), K-MBI (p=.028), FMA (p=.021) 으로 대조군에 비하여 유의하게 향상되었다. 결론: 결과적으로 상지로봇을 이용한 훈련은 일반적인재활치료에 비하여 뇌졸중 후 인지기능과 일상생활을 회복하는데 더 도움이 되었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the effect of upper-limb robot therapy on cognitive function and activities of daily living after a stroke. A total of 20 stroke patients were enrolled from C hospital in this study. Each patient was assigned to either the control or experimental group. The experimental group received both upper-limb robot therapy and general rehabilitation treatment, while the control group only received the general rehabilitation treatment. The intervention time was for 60 minutes in 5 sessions weekly for 8 weeks. To examine changes before and after treatment, outcomes were assessed using the Mini-Mental State Examination Modified-K (MMSE-K), K-Barthel Index (K-MBI), and Fugl-Meyer Assessment (FMA). After 8 weeks of intervention, a significant improvement was observed in the experimental group compared to that in the control group (MMSE-K (p=.011), K-MBI (p=.028), and FMA (p=.021)). Thus, this study showed promising results where stroke patients were able to recover cognitive function and daily life activities effectively with upper-limb robot therapy when provided in combination with general rehabilitation treatment as compared to only general rehabilitation treatment.
