영문 초록

This is to study on Taoism and Science. In Taoism, human beings can overcome death and have eternal life. So Taoism is presented neidan or waidan or cultivating life theory, in addition to strict religious practice. China, the development of science is the development of Taoism’s cultivating life theory. The several principles of Taoism’s Science philosophy can be drawn. First, ‘Tao’ as the natural order of things. Secondly, ‘Natural’ as the spontaneity of nature. Thirdly, ‘One’ is the unity of nature. Fourthly, ‘Empty and Stillness’ as the psychology of scientific observation. Finally, ‘My destiny is to me’ as the theory of conquer nature.
