국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 코칭역량과 유아의 공감능력 간의 관계에서 어머니 심리적 안녕감의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이를 위해 경상북도 G시의 유아를 둔 어머니 217명을 대상으로 설문조사가 이루어졌다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS와 AMOS 26.0 프로그램을 통해 신뢰도분석, 빈도분석, 기술통계분석, 상관분석, 요인분석, 구조방정식모형분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 모든 측정변인들 간에는 유의미한정적 상관성이 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 코칭역량과 유아의 공감능력 간의 관계에서 심리적 안녕감의부분매개 효과가 나타났다. 이는 어머니의 코칭역량이 유아의 공감능력에 직접적인 영향을 미치기도 하고, 심리적 안녕감을 매개로 간접영향을 미치기도 한다는 것을 의미한다. 결론적으로 유아기 자녀의 공감능력 발달을 지원하기 위해서는 어머니의 코칭역량의 직접적인 효과뿐만 아니라 심리적 안녕감이라는매개변인을 통한 간접효과를 고려한 부모교육 및 프로그램 개발 연구의 다면적 접근과 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the mediating effect of mother's psychological well-being in the relationship between a mother's coaching capability and the empathy of early childhood children. To this end, a survey of 217 mothers with infantile children in G City, Gyeongsangbuk-do, was conducted. The collected data were used through SPSS and AMOS 26.0 programs to perform reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, factor analysis, and structural equation model analysis. First, the analysis showed significant static correlations between all the measurement variables. Second, a partial effect of psychological well-being was seen in the relationship between the mother's coaching capability and the child's empathy ability. This means that a mother's coaching capability can have a direct impact on her child's empathy ability and indirectly affect their psychological well-being. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest that in order to support the development of child's empathy ability, a multifaceted approach is needed, taking into account not only the direct effects of the mother's coaching capability, but also the indirect effects of the mediator of psychological well-being.
