이주노동자의 한국어 쓰기 교육을 위한 딕토글로스 교수방법의 실제와 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 충분한 학습 시간을 확보하기 어려운 이주노동자를 위해 다양한 언어 영역을 효율적으로 증진시킬 수 있는Dictogloss(딕토글로스) 교수법을 실제 수업에 적용하고 그 효과를 확인하는 것을 목표로 한다.구체적으로,이주노동자 16명을 대상으로 연구 수업을 진행하여 딕토글로스가 이주노동자의 한국어 쓰기 능력 향상에 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보았다. 먼저,연구 참여자들의 쓰기 실력 변화를 알아보기 위해 사전/사후 쓰기 평가를 실시하여 사전 쓰기에 비해 사후 쓰기에서 평균 점수가 17점 이상 차이 났으며 통계적으로 연구 참여자들의 쓰기 실력 향상이 유의미한 변화가 있었음을 확인하였다.둘째, 연구 참여자들의 딕토글로스에 관한 인식을 알아보기 위해 설문 조사와 사후 인터뷰를 실시하였다.설문 조사를 통해 참여자들이 딕토글로스에 긍정적인 인식을 가지고있으며,선호도가 높은 것을 확인하였다.사후 인터뷰를 통해서 딕토글로스의 협동 학습이 이주노동자의 수업 참여도를 높이며,이는 한국어 실력 향상으로 이어지는 것으로 확인되었다.또한 쓰기를 포함한 듣기,말하기 능력과 더불어 어휘 능력도 향상된것을 확인할 수 있었다.하지만 말하기 능력의 향상은 확인하기 어려웠으며,한국어실력 부족과 학력 차이로 인한 토의의 어려움으로 딕토글로스의 한계를 확인할 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This study aims to apply the Dictogloss teaching method, which can efficiently promote various language areas for migrant workers who have difficulty securing sufficient learning time, to actual classes and confirm its effectiveness. Specifically, a research class was conducted on 16 migrant workers to find out whether Dictogloss affects the improvement of Korean language skills of migrant workers. First, in order to find out the change in writing skills of the study participants, a pre/post writing evaluation was conducted to confirm that the average score was 17 points or more different in post-writing compared to pre-writing. Second, surveys and post-interviews were conducted to find out the study participants’ perception of Dictogloss. Through the survey, it was confirmed that participants had a positive perception of Dictogloss and had high preference. Through the post-interview, it was confirmed that Dictogloss’ cooperative learning increased the participation of migrant workers in classes, which led to the improvement of Korean language skills. In addition, it was confirmed that vocabulary skills were improved as well as listening and speaking skills, including writing. However, the limitations of Dictogloss could be confirmed due to the lack of Korean language skills and difficulty in discussion due to differences in academic background.
