국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 유아가 주도하여 놀이하는 상황에서 나타나는 놀이규칙이 어떠한 의미를 가지는지 탐색하고자 하였다. 방법 만5세 유아 26명을 대상으로 2021년 4월부터 7월까지 연구를 수행하고 참여관찰, 유아면담, 연구자 저널, 유아 놀이기록, 비디오 녹화, 오디오 녹음 등의 방법으로 자료를 수집하였다. 자료를 수집하고 전사, 주제별 약호화와 적용, 주제의 생성 절차를 거치면서 자료를 분석하였다. 결과 연구결과 놀이규칙은 놀이를 가능하게 해주고, 놀이와 배움을 연결해주고, 놀이에 재미를 더해주는 것을 알 수 있었다. 결론 첫째 놀이규칙은 유아들의 배움의 방식이며 삶 자체인 놀이 안에서 중요하게 역할하고 기능함을 알 수 있었다. 둘째 유아는 놀이 속에 필요한 규칙을 스스로 만들고 변형하며 자신의 놀이세계를 확장해감을 알 수 있었다. 셋째 놀이규칙은 놀이의 틀을 짜고 가다듬으며 놀이의 질서를 유지하게 함을 알 수 있었다. 넷째 규칙이 지켜지지 않고 유아들 간 규칙을 조정하는 과정이 유아들을 배움으로 나아가게 한다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 다섯째 놀이규칙이 놀이의 재미를 더해준다는 것을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study attempted to explore the meaning of the play rules that appear in situations where young children play. Methods The study was conducted on 26 5-year-old young children from April to July 2021, and data were collected by means of participatory observation, young children’s interview, researcher's journal, young children’s play outputs, video video and audio recording. Data were collected and analyzed through transcription, abbreviation and application for each subject. Results As a result of the study, it was found that the play rules enable play, connect play and learning, and add fun to play. Conclusions First, it was found that the play rules are the way of learning for children and play important roles and functions in play. Second, it was found that the children made and transformed the rules necessary for play by themselves and expanded their play world. Third, it was found that the rules of play framed and refined the play, and maintained the order of the play. Fourth, It was found that the sometimes rules were not followed and the process of adjusting the rules among the children led them to learn. Fifth, It was found that the rules of play add to the fun of play.
