아동관찰 및 행동연구 관련 전공 서적 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 예비유아교사에게 영유아를 관찰하는데 필요한 기초 지식을 함양하도록 돕는 아동관찰 및 행동연구와 관련한 전공 서적을 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. 방법 이에 본 연구는 2019년 8월부터 2021년 8월까지 출판된 총 20권의 아동관찰 및 행동연구 관련한 전공 서적을 분석 대상으로 하였다. 선정한 전공 서적은 주제와 놀이 관찰에 따라 체계적으로 분석하였다. 수집된 분석 자료는 엑셀 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도 분석을 실시하였다. 결과 아동관찰 및 행동연구와 관련한 전공 서적의 주제를 살펴보면, 전공 서적은 아동관찰과 관련한 개념, 필요성, 목적과 같은 기초 개념을 다루었다. 또한 전공 서적의 주제는 아동관찰 이해, 아동관찰 종류, 아동관찰 방법을 포함하였다. 반면 아동행동연구 이해, 아동행동연구 종류, 아동행동연구 방법은 다루지 않는 전공 서적도 있었다. 놀이 관찰 내용을 분석한 결과, 놀이 관찰 연령은 영아보다 유아로 나타났다. 놀이 공간에서는 모든 전공 서적에서 실내자유놀이 관찰을 제시하고 있었다. 실내 흥미영역별 놀이는 영아와 유아 모두 역할 놀이와 쌓기 놀이를 찾아볼 수 있었다. 놀이 관찰 방법은 주로 일화기록법과 시간표집법이었다. 결론 유아교육기관에서 영유아 놀이를 포함한 관찰의 중요성이 더욱 커진 만큼, 본 연구에서는 아동관찰 및 행동연구와 관련한 전공 서적의 구성 방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study was to analyze major books related to child observation and behavioral research that help pre-service early childhood teacher to develop basic knowledge necessary for observing young children. Methods In this study, 20 major books related to child observation and behavior research published from August 2019 to August 2021 were analyzed. The selected major books were systematically analyzed according to subjects, and play observations. The collected analysis data were analyzed for frequency using an Excel program. Results In the subjects of major books, basic concepts such as concepts, necessity, and purpose were dealt with in relation to child observation. In addition, the subjects of the major books included understanding child observation, types of child observation, and methods of child observation. On the other hand, some major books did not cover understanding child behavior research, types of child behavior research, and methods of child behavior research. As a result of analyzing the contents of observation of play, the observation of young children was presented rather than observation of infants at the age of play. In the play space, all major books suggested observation of indoor free play. In the indoor play by interest area, both infants and young children were able to see dramatic play area and block play area. The play observation methods were mainly anecdotal records and timetable method. Conclusions As the importance of observation, including early childhood play, has grown in early childhood education institutions, this study was proposed a direction for the composition of major books related to child observation and behavioral research.
