The main purpose of this study is to measure the relative technical efficiency of jujube farms in Boeun, and to suggest strategies for improving technical efficiency by each farm. To achieve the goal, bootstrapping data envelopment analysis (DEA) and Tobit regression analysis are applied on “A Survey on the Status of Jujube Production for Regional Specialty Products, 2020”. To measure its efficiency, 36 farms are considered as decision making units(DMUs) by using five input variables such as depreciation cost, fertilizer cost, labor cost, pesticide fee and utility bill and the total revenue is considered as output variable. The results are as below. The average of technical efficient score in Boeun is between 0.68 and 0.79 with indicating relative weak inefficiency. Compared to the inefficient group, the efficient one showed about 35.5% higher total income and lower fertilizer costs, pesticides fee, utility bill and depreciation costs by 4.6%, 9.3%, 28.1, and 28.4%, respectively. The bootstrapped DEA provides better accuracy of efficiency scores than the traditional DEA with non-zero bias. The increase in the hours of farmer training had a positive effect on the efficiency, but the number of control had a negative effect, contrary to expectations.
