국문 초록

본 연구는 교차분석, 요인분석, 회귀분석을 통해 한국의 중소기업이 생산과정에서 직면하고 있는 여러 가지 경영요소들에 대해 분석한다. 교차분석 결과 종업원 규모(10~29명)와 매출액 규모(10~50억원)가 작은 소기업은 경영 시 어려움, 해외진출, 생산 아이템 수, 대기업과의 관계, 연구자원 등에서 다른 규모의 기업들과 다른 면이 나타났다. 한편 요인분석에서는 중소기업 생산활동에 기업규모 요인과 연구비용 요인, 그리고 연구능력 요인이 주요 요인으로 나타났다. 또한 이를 토대로 한 회귀분석에서는 중소기업의 매출액 증가에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 기업규모 요인이 크게 작용하는 것으로 나타난다.

영문 초록

This study, executed by cross analyses, factor analysis and regression analysis, examines various managerial factors that small and medium enterprises in Korea confront with in their production. The result of the cross analyses is that enterprises that are small in its number of employees (10~29 persons) and sales scale (1~5 billion won) are different from enterprises of other sizes in the following aspects: business obstacles, entry into overseas markets, product items, relationship with big companies, and R&D resources. However, factor analysis shows that business size, and R&D cost and ability are the major influencing factors in the production of SMEs. The regression analysis sequent on the factor analysis also shows that the business size is the most significant factor on the changes of enterprise sales.
