한국의 자연휴양림 유형구분에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국의 자연휴양림 개발정책 및 계획수립을 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 자연휴양림의 특성을 다변량분석법의 틀 속에서 종합적으로 파악하여 유형을 구분하였고 기존 연구들이 시행하지 않았던 유형구분에 대한 타당성 검증을 시도하였다. 연구결과 자연휴양림은 4개 유형으로 구분되었는데, 타당성을 검증한 결과 최초 구분되었던 결과와 달리 유형Ⅰ(생태자연은 좋지 못하지만 재해위험이 낮고 접근이용성이 높은 휴양림)은 25개 휴양림에서 24개로, 유형Ⅱ(생태자연은 좋지 못하지만 재해위험이 낮고 경사도가 높아 접근이용성이 낮은 휴양림)는 25개 휴양림에서 26개로, 유형Ⅲ(매력적인 식생·경관과 다양한 휴양기회를 가지며 경사가 낮지만 접근이용성이 낮은 휴양림)은 17개 휴양림에서 16개로, 유형Ⅳ(생태자연은 좋지만 재해위험이 높고 경사가 급하며 경관과 휴양기회가 적은 휴양림)는 25개 휴양림에서 25개로 조정되었다. 이는 기존 연구들에서 시행하지 않았던 구분된 유형들에 대한 타당성 검증의 유용성을 보여주는 것이라 할 수 있다. 휴양림의 유형구분은 정책의 수립·실행에 효율성을 증대시켜 주는 것은 분명한 바, 나아가 구분된 유형들의 타당성을 검증함으로써 향후 정확한 목표휴양림에 대한 정책수립·실행의 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study was designed to comprehensively understand and separate the characteristics of recreation forests of Korea through the multi-variate analysis for the provision of fundamental materials for recreation forests development policies and planning, and attempted to evaluate on the validity of classification of recreation forests, which has never been performed before. According to analysis results, recreation forests could be divided into 4 types; typeⅠ(recreation forests whose ecological nature status is not good, but the risk of calamity is low and accessibility is good), typeⅡ(recreation forests whose the risk of calamity is low, but ecological nature status is not good, slope is steep, and accessibility is poor), typeⅢ(recreation forests that have charming vegetation and landscape, various rest opportunity, and a gentle slope, but poor accessibility), and typeⅣ(recreation forests that ecological nature status is good, but have poor landscape, less rest opportunity, and a steep slope). Also, each type was adjusted as follows; typeⅠ(25→24 reviews), typeⅡ(25→26 reviews), typeⅢ(17→16 reviews), and typeⅣ(25→25 reviews). This study can be said to show the usability of validation of classified types, which was not done before. It is clear that the classification of recreation forests increases the efficiency in policy making and performance. Furthermore, by validating the separated types, we could expect high efficiency in policy making and performance on planned recreation forests in the future.
