국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정에 새롭게 등장한 ‘언어 소양’ 함양을 위한 교과서 개발 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 방법 이를 위하여 언어 소양이 도입된 배경, 언어 소양과 국어 교과의 관계를 이론적으로 탐색하였으며 국외 교육과정, 교과서를 분석하였다. 또한 초등학교 교사를 대상으로 FGI를 실시하여 교사의 인식, 지도 실태, 교과서 구성 방법에 대해 인터뷰 하였다. 해당 담화 자료를 전사 및 분석하여 언어 소양 함양을 위한 교과서에 필요한 읽기, 쓰기 전략 등을 도출하였으며 교사의 인식과 지도 현황을 교과서 개발 예시에 반영하였다. 결과 언어 소양 함양을 위한 국어 교과서, 사회 교과서 개발(안)을 제시하였다. 국어 교과서 개발(안)에는 단원 내 독립 코너, 어휘 학습 활동을 제시하였고, 사회 교과서 개발(안)에는 지도 읽기 활동, 학습 활동(밑줄 긋기, 도해조직자, 개념어 학습 등), 사회 교과 특수 장르 활동을 제시하였다. 결론 2022 개정 교육과정에 기초 소양으로 언어 소양이 도입된 것은 언어의 범교과성 측면을 강조한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 이에 따라 향후 교과서를 개발할 때 학생들이 학습에 언어 기능을 적극적으로 활용할 수 있도록 구성하여 언어 소양 함양에 도움이 되도록 해야 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to present the direction of textbook development to cultivate “language foundations” that has newly emerged in the 2022 revised curriculum. Methods To this end, the relationship between language foundation and Korean language subjects was theoretically explored, and overseas curriculum and textbooks were analyzed. In addition, FGI was conducted for elementary school teachers to interview teachers perceptions, guidance status, and how to compose textbooks. By transcribing and analyzing the discourse data, reading and writing strategies necessary for textbooks to cultivate language foundations were derived, and the teacher s perception and guidance status were reflected in the textbook development example. Results Examples of the development of Korean textbooks and social textbooks to foster language literacy were presented. In the example of the development of Korean textbooks, independent corners and vocabulary learning activities within the unit were presented. Examples of social textbook development presented map reading activities, learning activities(underlining, text organizers, learning conceptual words, etc.), and special genre activities in social subjects. Conclusions The introduction of language foundations as a basic foundations in the 2022 revised curriculum can be seen as emphasizing the cross-curricular aspect of language. Accordingly, when developing textbooks in the future, it should be organized so that students can actively utilize language functions in learning to help foster language founsdations.
