천안 동남구청 도시재생을 위한 천안역 재설계 및 공간구성

국문 초록

천안역은 전국 유일의 임시역사로 운영되고 있으며, 과거 도심의 핵심지 역할을 했지만 현재는 역사 및 주변시설의 낙후화로 제 기능을 다하지 못하고 있다. 이 연구에서는 천안 동남구청의 도시재생 사업의 일환으로 천안역을 대상으로 쇠퇴한 원도심을 되살리기 위한 천안역 재설계를 진행하였다. 천안역 일대 교통의 원활한 순환을 위한 교통 계획인 지하차도와 역사 이용률 및 이미지 개선에 도움을 줄 수 있는 공방, 컨퍼런스 룸 등의 내부 공간 구성, 그리고 누각을 모티브로 한 외관 디자인 등을 계획하였다. 이 연구를 통해 천안역에 대한 이용객들의 관심을 극대화하고 천안역 일대의 상권 활성화 등을 통해 경제적 효과 또한 불러일으킴으로써 도시 이미지에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

영문 초록

Cheonan Station is operated as a temporary station in Korea, and it used to serve as a core city center in the past, but is currently not functioning due to the deterioration of the station and surrounding facilities. This study conducted a redesign of Cheonan Station to revive the declining original city center in Cheonan Station as part of the urban regeneration project of the Cheonan Dongnam-gu Office. The construction of an underpass, which is a transportation plan for the smooth circulation of traffic around Cheonan Station, and the construction of interior spaces such as workshops and conference rooms that can help improve the utilization rate and image of the station, and the exterior design with a pavilion motif were planned. Through this study, it is expected that it will have a positive effect on the image of the city by maximizing the interest of users in Cheonan Station and revitalizing the commercial district around Cheonan Station.
