놀이에 대한 유아교사의 교수효능감과 수업화법능력 간의 관계에서 공감능력의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 교사의 교수효능감이 수업화법능력에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 공감능력이 미치는 매개효과를 검토하여 수업화법능력의 제고를 위한 기초자료를 얻고자 함이다. 방법 서울 및 각 도에 소재한 유치원과 어린이집에 근무하며 4세와 5세를 담당하고 있는 유아교사 262명을 대상으로 설문지를 통해 놀이에 대한 교수효능감, 공감능력 및 수업화법능력을 측정하였다. 결과 첫째, 놀이에 대한 유아교사의 교수효능감, 공감능력, 수업화법능력의 모든 변인들 간에 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 놀이에 대한 유아교사의 교수효능감이 높을수록 수업화법능력과 공감능력도 높아지는 것으로 나타났고, 유아교사의 공감능력이 높을수록 수업화법능력도 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 놀이에 대한 유아교사의 교수효능감과 수업화법능력 간의 관계에서 공감능력은 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 유아교사의 놀이교수효능감은 수업화법능력에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있으며, 여기에 공감능력이 더해질 때 더욱 효과적이라는 것을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was designed to obtain the basic data for improving the early childhood education teachers’ teaching communication abilities by investigating the effects of the teachers teaching efficacies on their teaching communication abilities and to analyze the mediation effects thereon. Methods Play teaching efficacies, empathies, and teaching communication abilities of the teachers about play were measured by questionaire for 262 early childhood education teachers in charge of children aged 4 and 5 year old, who are working at kindergartens and daycare centers located in Seoul and each province. Results First, we found that there was a positive correlation among all variables of early childhood education teachers teaching efficacies, teaching communication abilities, and empathies about play. We also confirmed that the higher the teaching efficacies of the teachers on play, the higher the teaching communication abilities and empathies. Second, it was found that empathy had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between the play teaching efficacies and the teaching communication abilities of the teachers. Conclusions The play teaching efficacies of early childhood education teachers could induce the positive effect on teaching communication abilities, and more enhanced effects were shown, when empathies were put on.
