국문 초록

연구목적: 이 연구의 목적은 비장애인, 지체장애인, 감각장애인 집단에서의 자존감과 삶의 만족 간 종단적 관계를 알아보는 것이었다. 연구방법: 이 연구의 자료는 한국복지패널조사 14차, 15차년도에서 추출하여 사용하였다. 이 연구는 세 집단에서 자존감과 삶의 만족의 종단적 안정성 계수와 자존감과 삶의 만족 간의 교차지연 효과를 다집단 구조방정식 모형 분석으로 비교하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 자존감의 안정성 계수는 세 집단에서 정적으로 유의하였고, 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 삶의 만족의 안정성 계수는 세 집단에서 정적으로 유의하였고, 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 셋째, 자존감의 장래의 삶의 만족에 대한 교차지연 효과는 세 집단에서 정적으로 유의하였고, 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 넷째, 삶의 만족의 장래의 자존감에 대한 교차지연 효과는 세 집단에서 정적으로 유의하였고, 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 결론: 주요 결과는 자존감과 삶의 만족 사이의 종단적 관계가 비장애인, 지체장애인, 감각장애인 집단에서 유의한 차이가 없다는 것을 제안한다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine longitudinal interrelations between self-esteem and life satisfaction among persons without disabilities, with physical disabilities, and with sensory impairments. Method: The researchers used data from the 14th to 15th waves in a Korean Welfare Panel Study. This study compared the longitudinal stability coefficients of self-esteem and life satisfaction, and the cross-lagged effects between self-esteem and life satisfaction in three groups by multiple group structural equation modeling. Results: First, the stability coefficients of self-esteem were positively significant in the three groups and did not show significant differences. Second, the stability coefficients of life satisfaction were positively significant in the three groups and did not show significant differences. Third, the cross-lagged effects of self-esteem on life satisfaction were positively significant in the three groups and did not show significant differences. Fourth, the cross-lagged effects of life satisfaction on self-esteem were positively significant in the three groups and did not show significant differences. Conclusion: The results suggested that longitudinal interrelations between self-esteem and life satisfaction does not show any differences among persons without disabilities, with physical disabilities, or with sensory impairments.
