국문 초록

목적 대학에서 학생들이 지역사회에 관심을 가지고 함께 공동체의 가치를 만들어 가도록 교육과정을 설계하기 위해서는 실제 학생들이 지역사회를 어떻게 인식하고 있는지 선행적으로 탐색하는 과정이 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 지역사회에 대한 대학생들의 인식을 Q 방법론 적용을 통해 분석하였다. 방법 본 연구는 대학생들이 주관적으로 인식하는 지역사회에 대한 이미지와 태도를 탐색한 후, Q 진술문 수집, Q 표본 구성, P 표본 구성, Q 분류, 요인추출 등의 Q 방법론 절차를 거쳐 이를 범주화하여 각 유형에 따른 특징을 심층적으로 살펴보았다. 결과 Q 방법론의 통계분석에는 QUANL 프로그램이 활용되었으며, 추출된 요인을 통해 유사한 인식과 태도를 지닌 대학생들을 4가지(개인의 안전하고 편안한 삶을 지켜주는 지역사회 추구형, 체계적인 문제해결을 위한 주도적 지역사회 협력형, 공동체 중심의 상호 보완적 지역사회 참여형, 쾌적한 환경조성을 통한 풍요로운 지역사회 요구형)로 유형화하였다. 결론 본 연구는 이러한 분석과정을 통해 대학생들에게 필요한 적합한 학습동기부여 방안을 제시하였다. 특히, 본 연구의 결과는 학생, 학교, 지역사회가 더불어 성장하고 발전할 수 있는 학습자 중심의 교육체계 마련에 기여할 것으로 기대하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives In order to design a curriculum that allows students to take interest in the community and create community values together, it is important to proactively explore how students perceive the local community. Therefore, this study analyzed university students’ perceptions of the local community by applying the Q methodology. Methods This study explored the images and attitudes of the local community subjectively perceived by university students, categorized them, and examined the characteristics of each type in depth. Results The QUANL program was used for statistical analysis of the Q methodology, and university students with similar perceptions and attitudes were classified into four types through the extracted factors. Conclusions Through this analysis process, the results showed a suitable learning motivating method for university students. In particular, tour findings contribute to the preparation of a learner-centered education system where students, schools, and local communities could grow and develop together.
