초심 수퍼바이저의 수퍼비전 경험에 관한 현상학적 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 초심 수퍼바이저가 수퍼비전을 통하여 어떠한 경험을 하는지 알아보고, 초심 수퍼바이저 경험의 의미를 밝히고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 Giorgi의 현상학적 방법으로 연구를 수행하였다. 상담심리전문가 자격증을 취득한 후 5년 이내이며, 상담과 수퍼비전을 진행하고 있는 상담자를 대상으로 참여자를 선별하였다. 6명의 연구 참여자를 심층 인터뷰한 내용을 바탕으로, 총체적 의미 파악, 의미구분, 학문적 용어변환, 일반적 구조진술로의 통합 등 4단계 절차를 적용하여 분석하였다. 결과 연구 결과 55개의 의미단위와 16개의 하위구성요소, 6개의 구성요소를 도출하였다. 6개의 구성요소는 ‘수퍼바이저로서 갈피를 못 잡음’, ‘수퍼바이저가 되기 위한 고군분투’, ‘수퍼바이저로서 자기를 성찰함’, ‘수퍼바이지와 상호주관성을 경험함’, ‘수퍼비전에 대한 의식이 확장됨’, ‘어렴풋하게 수퍼바이저가 되어감’으로 나타났다. 결론 초심 수퍼바이저는 애쓰고 고군분투하며 혼란스러워하지만, 시행착오 중에서도 성찰을 통하여 변화를 경험한다. 수퍼바이지와의 상호주관성을 확인하며 인식의 폭이 확장되는 경험을 통하여 어렴풋하게 수퍼바이저가 되어감을 경험하였다. 이에 대한 의의와 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 덧붙였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study attempted to find out what kinds of experiences the novice supervisors have through the supervision, and to clarify the meaning of the novice supervisors experiences. Methods For reaching those, the study was conducted by Giorgi s phenomenological method. Participants were selected among counselors, who were within 5 years of obtaining a psychological counseling expert certificates, and who were conducting counselings and supervisions. Based on the in-depth interviews with six research participants, four steps were applied to identify the overall meaning, to classify the meaning, to convert academic terms, and to integrate into general structural statements. Results From the result of the study, 55 semantic units, 16 sub-components, and 6 components were derived. 6 components are as follows; ‘Unknowing what to do as supervisor’, ‘Struggling to become a supervisor’, ‘Self-reflection as a supervisor’, ‘Experienced intersubjectivity with supervisee’, ‘Consciousness expanded about supervision’, and ‘Becoming a supervisor vaguely’. Conclusions Novice supervisors try, struggle, and get confused, but they experience change by reflection even through trial and error. And they go through becoming supervisors vaguely, by the experience of expanding the scope of perception, and confirming the intersubjectivity with supervisees. Therefore, significances, limitations, and suggestions for follow-up studies were added.
