영문 초록

The culture of a country has been developed and passed down with its own individuality for a long time based on its locality. Traditional culture represents the identity of a country and is an intangible asset that contains the lives and philosophy of the people. Therefore, this study tried to find a way to bring the cultural value and beauty of Korean traditional furniture into the present life and pass it on to the next generation. When trying this kind of work, three methods to consider first are presented and examples are given to increase understanding. The application of new materials and technologies makes people perceive it as a modern and futuristic design. This trend will gradually expand the scope of its application due to the development of science and technology through the 4th industrial revolution, and it will make it easier for people to access and use traditional furniture in a social flow centered on production and consumption, thereby improving the traditional furniture culture. It will greatly contribute to increasing the value and expanding the base.
