국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 유치원 교사들의 전문적학습공동체 만남 과정을 탐색하는 데 있다. 이에 따른 연구 문제는 ‘유치원 교사들의 전문적학습공동체 만남 과정은 어떠한가?’로 설정하였다. 방법 선정된 연구참여자는 연구자를 포함한 4명의 공립유치원 교사이다. 연구 기간은 2020년 11월 8일부터 2021년 4월 3일까지였고, 모임은 주 1회 2시간 이상 ZOOM을 통해 22회 이루어졌다. 자료는 만남 시 영상, 사진, 음성 기록을 수집한 후 연구일지와 개인 면담내용을 전사하여 분석하였다. 결과 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유치원 교사들은 전문적학습공동체에서 만남으로 연결되어 서로의 같음과 다름에 대해 알게 되었다. 둘째, 유치원 교사들은 전문적학습공동체에서의 만남을 통해 서로가 다르지만 같아서 함께할 수 있음을 깨닫게 되었다. 결론 본 연구의 결과는 사람 간 갈등이 ‘다름’에서 시작됨을 보여준다. 하지만 다름은 ‘같음’을 찾는 노력이기도 했다. 연구참여자들은 ‘같음과 다름’이 서로를 전제하듯 인간인 우리도 서로 의지하며 살아갈 수밖에 없는 유기체적 존재임을 알게 되었다. 이 연구에서는 ‘같음과 다름’이 서로 ‘함께’할 때 가치 있음을 일깨우며 사람과 사람이 함께 만나려는 의지 즉, 실천을 통해서만 풍요로운 세계와 연결될 수 있음을 시사하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to explore the process of meeting kindergarten teachers with the professional learning community. Accordingly, the research question was set as ‘What is the process of kindergarten teachers meeting with the professional learning community?’. Methods The selected research participants are four public kindergarten teachers including the researcher. The study period was from November 8, 2020 to April 3, 2021, and meetings were held 22 times through ZOOM for 2 hours or more once a week. For data, video, photos, and audio records were collected during the meeting, and the research journal and personal interview contents were transcribed and analyzed. Results The results of this study are as follows. First, kindergarten teachers knew each other s similarities and differences through encounters in the professional learning community. Second, kindergarten teachers practiced a professional learning community and came to realize that they are different from each other, but they are the same and can work together. Conclusions This meeting shows that conflicts between people begin with ‘difference’. However, the difference was also an effort to find ‘sameness’. Kindergarten teachers experienced that just as ‘the same and different’ presupposes each other, we as human beings are organic beings that have no choice but to depend on each other. This study reminds us that the sameness and difference are valuable when they are “together with” and suggests that people can connect with a world of abundance only through their will to meet, that is, through practice.
