질적 메타분석을 통한 또래놀이 맥락에 따른 영아의 사회적 행동

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 영아의 놀이를 질적으로 분석하고 있는 연구를 대상으로 한 질적 메타분석을 통해 또래놀이 상황에서의 영아의 사회적 행동을 고찰하여 또래놀이에서의 영아의 사회적 행동의 내용을 종합적으로 분석하고자 하였다. 방법 목적을 이루기 위해 영아의 놀이를 질적 접근방법으로 다루고 있는 연구 중 2010년부터 2020년 사이에 전문학술지에 게재된 9편의 연구를 추출하여 Noblit와 Hare(1988)가 제시한 질적 메타분석 7단계 절차에 따라 개별 연구의 내용을 분석하여 또래놀이에서의 영아의 사회적 행동을 개념화하였다. 결과 분석결과, 또래놀이 맥락에 따른 영아의 사회적 행동이라는 주제 아래, 또래놀이의 시작, 또래놀이의 유지 및 확장, 또래놀이의 방해 및 중단의 또래놀이 맥락의 세 범주가 도출되었다. 이 범주는 관심보이기, 놀이합류, 모방, 공유, 돕기, 놀이확장, 놀이합류 거부, 또래갈등 경험, 또래갈등 해결 등의 9개의 핵심개념과 28개의 하위개념으로 구분하였다. 결론 영아는 또래관계 형성에 기초한 또래놀이의 시작, 또래놀이의 유지 및 확장, 또래놀이의 방해 및 중단 등의 또래놀이 맥락에 따라 다양한 사회적 행동을 한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was intended to comprehensively analyze the contents of infant s social behavior in peer play by examining the social behavior of infants in peer play through qualitative meta-analysis of studies that qualitatively analyze infant play. Methods Among the studies dealing with infant play qualitatively, 9 studies published in professional journals between 2010 and 2020 were extracted and the contents of individual studies were analyzed according to the seven-step procedure of qualitative meta-analysis suggested by Noblit and Hare (1988). By analyzing it, the social behavior of infants in peer play was conceptualized. Results According to the social behavior in the context of peer play, three categories were derived: initiation of peer play, maintenance and extension of peer play, and disturbing and interruption of peer play. This category was divided into 9 core concepts and 28 sub-concepts, such as showing interest, joining play, imitation, sharing, helping, expanding play, refusing to join play, experiencing peer conflict, and resolving peer conflict. Conclusions Infants engage in various social behaviors according to the context of the start of peer play based on the formation of peer relationships, maintenance and expansion of peer play, and disturbing and interruption of peer play.
