사건중심성이 외상 후 스트레스 증상 및 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 대학생을 대상으로 사건중심성이 외상 후 스트레스 증상 및 외상 후 성장에 미치는 영향에서 탈중심화의 조절효과를 확인해보고자 하였다. 방법 경기도 소재 대학교 재학생 552명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 외상경험의 양상을 파악하고 주요 변인들을 측정하기 위해 외상경험 질문지, 사건중심성 척도 한국판(CES-K), 한국판 사건충격척도 수정판(IES-R-K), 한국판 외상 후 성장 척도 (K-PTGI), 탈중심화 척도(EQ)를 사용하였다. 외상 미경험자와 불성실한 응답자의 자료를 제외하고 총 396개의 자료를 분석에 활용하였으며, 조절효과를 검증하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 결과 본 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외상 후 스트레스 증상에 대한 사건중심성의 주효과와 탈중심화의 주효과가 나타났다. 둘째, 외상 후 성장에 대한 사건중심성의 주효과와 탈중심화의 주효과가 나타났다. 셋째, 외상 후 성장에 대한 사건중심성과 탈중심화의 상호작용효과가 유의한 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 본 연구 결과를 통해 사건중심성이 높을수록 외상 후 스트레스 증상과 외상 후 성장의 정도가 높아지며, 외상 후 성장의 경우 탈중심화를 통해 더욱 강화된 효과를 내는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 탈중심화가 외상 후 성장의 촉진에 중요한 기제로서 작용할 수 있으며, 이는 치료적인 함의를 가질 수 있겠다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 한계점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study attempted to verify a role of decentering as a moderating variable in the influences of centrality of event on post-traumatic symptoms and post-traumatic growth for college students. Methods 552 undergraduate students were participated in this study who are attending a university in the metropolitan area of South Korea. All participants were completed the self-report questionnaires: the Trauma Incident Questionnaire, the Centrality of Event Scale-Korean Version(CES-K), the The Korean Version of Impact of Event Scale-Revised(IES-R-K), the The Korean Version of the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory(K-PTGI), and the Experience Questionnaire(EQ). Excluding responses of participants either whom have never experienced traumatic event or whom were incompleted or insincere, a total of 396 responses were used for the analysis. Results The results were as follows. First, the main effect of decentering was significant to posttraumatic stress symptoms. Second, the moderating effect of decentering was significant in the influence of centrality of event on posttraumatic growth. Conclusions Clinical implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
