간호대학생의 아동 호스피스⋅완화의료에 대한 지식, 태도 및 인식

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호대학생의 아동 호스피스⋅완화의료에 대한 지식, 태도 및 인식을 파악하기 위해 실시하였다. 방법 2021년 8월에서 9월까지 간호대학생 96명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 간호대학생의 아동 호스피스⋅완화의료에 대한 지식과 태도는 7점 척도로 구성된 20문항으로, 인식은 4점 척도로 구성된 20문항으로 조사하였다. 수집한 자료는 SPSS/WIN 21.0을 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과 간호대학생의 지식과 태도는 각각 4.7점과 5.1점이었으며 인식은 3.2점으로 나타났다. 간호대학생의 완화의료 관련 교육 경험에 따라 호스피스⋅완화의료에 대한 태도(t=2.85, p=.005)와 인식(t=2.93, p=.004)에 차이가 있었으며, 완화의료 관련 교육이 필요하다고 응답한 경우 호스피스⋅완화의료에 대한 태도(t=5.47, p<.001)가 긍정적인 것으로 나타났다. 아동 호스피스⋅완화의료에 대한 지식은 태도(r=.32 p=.002)와 인식(r=.27 p=.009)과 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 태도는 인식(r=.27 p=.009) 과 유의한 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론 간호대학생의 아동의 호스피스⋅완화의료에 대한 지식과 태도를 높이고 인식을 개선하기 위해서는 표준화된 교육이 필요하다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study is a basic study to understand the knowledge, attitudes and perceptions of nursing students about hospice and palliative care for children. Methods Data were collected from 96 nursing students from August to September 2021. A structured questionnaire was used for data collection, and knowledge and attitude consisted of a total of 20 items on a 7-point scale, and perception on a 20 item 4-point scale. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0. Results Knowledge and attitude were 4.7 and 5.1, and perception was 3.2. There were differences in the attitudes( t=2.85, p=.005) and perceptions(t=2.93, p=.004) of hospice and palliative care according to the nursing students experiences in palliative nursing education. Knowledge of child hospice and palliative care was found to have a significant correlation with attitude (r=.32 p=.002) and perception (r=.27 p=.009). Attitude was found to have a significant correlation with perception (r=.27 p=.009). Conclusions Standardized education is needed to increase children s knowledge and attitudes towards hospice and palliative care and to improve their awareness.
