간호대학생의 봉사활동, 전공만족도 및 진로소명의식이 자아존중감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 간호대학생의 봉사활동, 전공만족도 및 진로소명의식이 자아존중감간의 관계를 확인하고, 이들 변수간의 관계 및 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 주요 요인을 파악하기 위한 탐색적 조사연구였다. 방법 이를 위하여 C시 소재 간호학과에 재학중인 간호대학생을 대상으로 하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2021년 7월 15일부터 8월 17일까지 이며, 코로나 상황을 고려하여 구글 설문을 통해 자료를 수집하였고, 총 197명의 자료를 분석하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS/WIN 23.0을 이용하여 t검정, ANOVA, Scheffé test, 위계적 다중회귀분석을 하였다. 결과 일반적 특성에서는 종교에 따라 자아존중감(F=1.714, p=.032)이 차이가 있었으며, 봉사활동 만족정도에 따라 자아존중감 (F=1.883, p=.015)이 차이가 있었다. 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 직업소명의식이 정적 상관관계가 있었으며 간호대학생의 자아존중감에 영향을 미치는 요인은 진로소명의식, 봉사만족정도, 봉사경험이었다. 결론 간호대학생의 자아존중감을 높이는 주요 요인은 진로 소명의식, 봉사만족도, 봉사경험 등으로 나타났으므로 간호대학생의 자아존중감을 높이기 위해 진로소명의식 고취와 만족스러운 봉사활동 경험을 증진시키기 위한 대학과 학과 차원의 프로그램이나 교육과정 개발을 제언한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of This study confirms the relationship between volunteer activities, major satisfaction, and career mission sense awareness and self-esteem of nursing students. This was an exploratory research study to understand the relationship between these variables and the major factors affecting self-esteem. Methods The subjects who participated in this study were 197 nursing college students enrolled in the nursing departments of Universities in C cities as final research subjects, The data collection period was from July 15 to August 17, 2021 through Google survey. Collected through t-test, ANOVA, Scheffé test, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 23.0. Results In general characteristics, there was a difference in self-esteem (F=1.714, p=.032) according to religion, there was a difference in self-esteem (F=1.883, p=.015) according to the level of satisfaction with volunteer work. there was a positive correlation between major satisfaction and career mission sense. In addition, the factors affecting the self-esteem of nursing students were career mission sense, volunteer activities satisfaction, and volunteer activities experience. In particular, in this study, an important factor in increasing the self-esteem of nursing students was identified as the increase in career mission sense, volunteer activities satisfaction, and volunteer activities experience. Conclusions Therefore, through the results of this study, It is suggested to develop programs or curriculum at the university and department level to promote satisfactory volunteer experience in order to increase the self-esteem of nursing students.
