미술치료학 전공 입학생들의 학사과정을 통한 자아상과 진로정체감 변화 연구

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 미술치료전공 입학생들의 나무그림검사와 진로정체감검사의 반응특성을 분석하여 4년간의 학사과정 동안 진로정체감과 자아상에 어떠한 변화가 있는지 알아보는데 그 목적이 있다. 방법 경기도 C 대학 미술치료전공 입학생 30명을 대상으로, 2018년 3월에 사전검사를 실시하고, 졸업을 앞둔 2021년 7월에 사후검사를 실시했다. 측정 도구는 양적연구방법으로 나무그림검사와 진로정체감척도검사를 진행했으며, 추가로 검사참여자 중 자발적 참여의사를 밝힌 5명을 대상으로 질적연구방법인 심층인터뷰를 진행했다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 19를 사용하여 각각의 진로정체감과 나무그림검사의 반응특성과 빈도파악을 위해 평균 및 표준편차분석을, 학사과정의 진로정체감과 자아상 영향을 보기 위해 대응표본 t검증을 실시했다. 결과 학생들의 진로정체감 척도의 정서요인 점수에서 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었으며, 나무그림검사에서 그림의 크기, 수피의 유무, 상흔이나 옹이의 유무에서 긍정적 변화를 나타냈다. 심층인터뷰에서는 2개의 영역, 6개의 주제와 그에 포함되는 14개의 의미범주가 도출되었는데 참여자들은 학사과정을 통해 진로를 확고히 하였고, 자신을 보다 구체적으로 인지하고 성장할 수 있었다고 보고했다. 결론 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 4년간의 학사과정동안 미술치료학과 입학생들의 진로정체감과 자아상의 변화를 확인할 수 있었던 점에서 의미가 있으며 미술치료학 전공생들의 진로정체감 형성 지지기반 확대와 학문적 발전에 기여하기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of 4-year Undergraduate course on career identity and self-image change by analyzing the response characteristics of art therapy college students’ Tree Test and Career Identity Test. Methods A pre-test was conducted in March 2018, and a post-test was conducted in July 2021 for 30 students entering the art therapy major at Gyeonggi-do C University. As a measurement tool, a tree picture test and a career stagnation scale test were conducted as a quantitative research method. In addition, in-depth interviews were conducted as a qualitative research method for 5 people who voluntarily expressed their intention to participate. For the collected data, mean and standard deviation analysis was performed to understand the response characteristics and frequency of each career identity and tree picture test using SPSS 19, and a matched-sample t-test was performed to see the influence of career identity and self-image in the undergraduate course. Results The score of the students career identity scale-emotion factor improved significantly, and the tree picture test showed positive changes in the size of the picture, the presence of bark, and the presence or absence of scars or knots. In addition, it was reported that two areas, six themes and 14 semantic categories included in the in-depth interview were derived from the in-depth interview. Conclusions Through the results, it was possible to confirm the effect of 4-year undergraduate course in Art Therapy on career identity and self-image. It is expected to contribute to the expansion of the career path and academic development of the undergraduate art therapy course.
