교육대학에서 교양 경제 수업을 어떻게 할 것인가?

국문 초록

이 논문은 교육대학의 경제 교양수업에 관한 연구이다. 교육대학은 심화전공이 아니면 경제 수업을 배우는 것이 쉽지는 않으나 교양 경제는 일반대학처럼 선택만 하면 누구나가 들을 수 있다. 글로벌 위기 이후 초등경제교육의 중요성이 강조되는 가운데 예비교사들의 경제 능력 함양을 위해서 교양 경제 수업이 가지고 있어야 할 수업의 방향과 교육대학만의 특수성을 고려하여 초등교과와 연계된 강의콘텐츠 개발의 필요성에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 우선, 전국 교육대학교 교양 경제 관련 강좌 개설현황과 현행 초등 사회과 경제 교과서를 점검하고 실질적으로 교양 경제 수업에서 초등 사회과 과목을 접목한 강의 계획서와 수업 예시를 보였다. 예비교사의 함양을 위해서 해결책은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육과정상 교양 경제 수업 시수 또는 수강인 원을 증가시키는 양적인 확대를 동시에 준비하는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 교양 경제 수업에서 초등경제 수업내용을 다루는 교육대만의 강의콘텐츠를 개발하여 질적인 향상을 준비하여야 하며 그리고 여기에 세 번째는, 가능하다면 예비교사의 경제 수업을 필수교양으로 하고, 차선책으로 특강이라는 방법을 통해서라도 초등 경제 수업 과정을 이수하는 과정을 강구하는 것도 바람직하다.

영문 초록

This thesis is the study on economics offered as general education in a university of education. It is not easy to take a class in economics unless it is an intensive major course. However, anyone can take an economics class as general education if he or she chooses it, just as they would at any other general university. The importance of elementary economics education has been emphasized since the global crisis. Accordingly, in order to cultivate a grounding in economics among pre-service teachers, this study researched the direction of economics class offered as general education, along with the development of lecture contents affiliated with an elementary curriculum, considering the speciality of courses offered at education universities. First of all, this study researched the current state of course offerings for economics as general education in a university of education throughout the country, as well as current economics textbooks within elementary social studies programs. This study then suggested a lesson plan of economics affiliated with elementary social studies courses and its class example. The solution to cultivate a grounding in economics among pre-service teachers are as follows: First, it is necessary to increase the frequency of economics as general education and the number of students attending a class. Second, it is necessary to develop economics as general education dealing with elementary economics, in order to improve its overall quality. Third, it is necessary to designate economics as required general education for pre-service teachers and to have students complete an elementary economics class as a special lecture in order to provide students with an alternative to their regular courses.
