간호대학생의 스트레스와 대학생활적응의 관계에서 발언행동과 그릿의 매개효과

국문 초록

목적 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 스트레스와 대학생활적응 간 관계에서 발언행동과 그릿의 매개효과를 규명하기 위함이다. 방법 D시에 소재하는 간호대학교에 재학 중인 학생 140명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 IBM SPSS Statistics 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, Independent t-test, One way ANOVA, Scheffé test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient 및 Multiple regression을 실시하였다. 결과 대상자의 대학생활적응에 대하여 그릿(r=.46, p<.001), 발언행동(r=.48, p<.001)은 양의 상관관계를 보였으며, 스트레스(r=-.55, p<.001)는 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 발언행동(r=-.23, p=.007)과 그릿(r=-.34, p<.001)은 스트레스와 음의 상관관계를 보였다. 스트레스와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 발언행동(Z=-2.41, p=.015)과 그릿(Z=-3.12, p=.002)이 부분 매개효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 결론 이러한 결과를 토대로 간호대학생의 대학생활적응을 향상시키기 위해서 스트레스를 낮추고 발언행동과 그릿을 높일 수 있는 프로그램 개발 및 교육환경이 조성되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aimed to assess stress, adjustment to college life, voice behavior, and levels of grit in nursing students; whether stress, voice behavior, and grit can predict degree of adjustment to college life; the influence of stress on adjustment to college life among nursing students by focusing on the mediating roles of voice behavior intentions and grit levels. Methods A sample of 140 Korean nursing students participated. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using Pearson’s correlations and hierarchical multiple regression analysis. Results There were significant correlations between stress, voice behavior, grit levels, and adjustment to college life. Stress was negatively correlated with voice behavior and grit. Sobel test results revealed that voice behavior and grit partially mediated the relationship between stress and adjustment to college life. Conclusions The development of voice behavior and implementation of a grit training course could improve adjustment to college life among nursing students.
