중국어 말하기 유창성 향상을 위한 소고

국문 초록

말하기 평가 기준에 있어서 유창성은 필수적인 요소이다. 유창성은 정확성, 신속성, 표현력 이렇게 세 가지 평가 기준이 사용되고 있는데, 이중 신속성이 가장 큰 영향을 미친다는 연구 결과가 있다. 한국에서 시행 중인 5종류의 중국어 말하기 시험을 분석한 결과 평가 기준을 구체적으로 명시한 시험은 없었다. 이에 본 연구는 신속성에 대한 기준을 마련하기 위하여 적정 발화 속도를 제시하고, 유창성 향상에 도움이 되는 학습법을 소개하였다. 교육대학원 중국어 교육 전공 중국어회화 수강생 15명을 대상으로 실시한 실험 결과, 중국어 말하기 시험에 대비하기 위한 적정 발화 속도는 1분에 200자 정도로 나타났다. 그리고 중국어 유창성을 향상하는 데 있어서 반복 듣기보다는 반복 읽기가 보다 효과적인 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Fluency is an essential factor in speech evaluation criteria. In evaluating fluency, three evaluation criteria are used: accuracy, speed, and expressive power, and among them, there is a research result that speed has the greatest influence. As a result of analyzing the five types of Chinese speaking tests being conducted in Korea, there were no tests that specifically presented evaluation criteria. Therefore, in order to establish an evaluation standard for speed, this study presented an appropriate speech rate and introduced a learning method that helps improve fluency. As a result of the experiment conducted on 15 Chinese conversation students majoring in Chinese education at Graduate School of Education, the appropriate speech speed to prepare for the Chinese speaking test was about 200 characters per minute. In addition, it was found that repetitive reading was more efficient than repetitive listening in improving Chinese fluency.
