영문 초록

This study aims to analyze Vladimir Putin s speech focusing on rhetoric – ethos, pathos, logos. The first part of this study provides an analysis of statement. An analysis of statement is objective research, but in a view of persuasion an analysis of statement has limits. Thus this study suggests qualitative research method. Qualitative research method is effective research method. Because an analysis of persuasion speech act is complex process. By way of conclusion it is suggested that qualitative research method can be effective in laying the statement for persuasion can be express one or more rhetoric method. In particular, Vladimir Putin s public speech uses emotional appeals of ethos and pathos in parallel.
