국문 초록

본 연구는 국가수준교육과정에서 통섭이 적용된 바를 알아보고, 시대적 요구와 반영에 관한 제안을 담고 있다. 교육과정에는 시대와 사회가 요구하는 교육의 목표와 의도가 담겨있다. 따라서 현 시대의 사상적 조류와 흐름을 담아내는 것이 중요하다. 융합, 통합과는 다른 의미의 통섭은 각각의 경계를 인정하면서도 인식론적 접근의 확대로 새로운 것을 창출하는 것을 의미한다. 미술과 교육과정을 통해서 통섭을 살펴보는 것은 시대적 요구와 방향을 진단하는 토대가 되기에 의미가 있다. 이에 본 연구로써 통섭이 지니는 의미를 이해하고, 미술과 교육과정을 통하여 실행 가능한 방안을 모색하고자 한다. 나아가 시대적 흐름을 반영한 교육과정의 적용 방안을 제안하는 데 본 연구의 목적이 있다.

영문 초록

This study examines the extent of consilience in the National Art Curriculum and suggest consilience between the demand and aim in education. Curriculum generally includes educational purpose and intend that society demands, and thus it is important to contain philosophical trends and flow in curriculum. Consilience, which differs from convergence or integration, both of which imply combination into an integral whole, creates a new concept from diverse knowledge, while recognizing each field and enlarging epistemological approach. It is meaningful to understand implications of consilience in the 2009 revised art curriculum because it could judge societal demands and direction of art education. Therefore, the aim of this study is to understand consilience and find a practical teaching-learning methods in the 2009 revised art curriculum. Furthermore, this study suggests an applicable method in art curriculum that reflects social trends.
