문제해결형 실험에서 불일치 결과에 대한 중학교 학생의 결론도출 사례연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 서로 다른 경향성을 나타내는 실험 결과에 직면했을 때 학생들의 반응을 알아보았다. 이를 위해 중학교 3학년 과학반 학생 4명을 대상으로 모둠실험과 개별실험, 개별 인터뷰를 실시하였다. 모둠실험에서 가설과 다른 결과가 나왔을 때 결과에 근거한 결론을 도출하였다. 개별실험 결론을 도출하는 과정에서 개별실험의 가설과 일치하는 결과를 얻은 학생은 갈등없이 결론을 도출하였다. 그러나 가설과 일치하지 않는 결과를 얻은 학생들은 가설을 수용하여 결론을 내리는 경우가 많았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the students conclusion-making when students faced the anomalous experimental results. The four 3rd grade middle-school students had executed the group and individual experiments and then had been interviewed for the analysis. When the results of the group experiment discorded with the assumption, students made a conclusion based on the result. In the progress of making conclusion of the individual experiment, students made a conclusion without any conflict when results accorded with the assumption. However, students made a conclusion based on the results instead of the assumption in the case of disagreement between result and assumption.
