국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 일상적 상황에서 증발과 응결 현상에 대한 중학교 3학년 학생들의 개념 이해를 밝히기 위해서 이루어졌다. 그리기 방법을 적용하고 면담법을 보완하여 증발 개념과 과정을 설명하는 용어, 응결 개념과 과정을 설명하는 용어에 대해 조사하였다. 일상적 상황에서 7.9%의 학생들만 물이 수증기로 변한다는 과학적 개념을 증발이라는 과학적 용어로 과정에 대해 설명하였다. 대부분의 학생들은 공기 중에 있다가 물방울로 바뀌었다고 하였지만 응결이라는 과학적 용어를 사용하고 있지 않았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the conceptions about evaporation and condensation phenomena in everyday context of the third middle school students. The several categories were investigated by method of drawing and interview : terms used to explain evaporation process, terms used to explain condensation process. In everyday context 7.9% of students had a scientific concept such as water turns into steam of vapor in explaining the evaporation process and they were able to use the scientific term evaporation . Mostly students talked of water from the outside air being responsible. However they were not able to use the scientific term condensation .
