고교학점제 연구학교의 진로 및 학업설계 지도 현황과 지원 방안

국문 초록

목적 본 연구에서는 고교학점제 연구학교의 진로 및 학업설계 지도 현황을 분석하여 진로 및 학업설계 지도를 위한 지원 방안을 제안하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 고교학점제 연구학교를 대상으로 진로 및 학업설계 지도에 대한 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 진로 및 학업설계 지도 현황을 파악하기 위해 연구학교 연차별로 차별화된 3종의 설문지를 개발하였고, 응답 결과 총 84개의 연구학교에서 응답하여 이를 분석하였다. 결과 설문 조사 분석 결과는 첫째, 교육과정 이수 지도팀 구성, 둘째, 진로집중학기제 운영을 통한 고1 학사운영 구안, 셋째, 진로·학업설계 지도 담당자 및 지도 현황으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 분석 결과, 많은 연구학교에서 교육과정 이수 지도팀 및 교육과정 전담 부서를 구성하였고, 고1 학생을 대상으로 다양한 진로 지도 프로그램 및 학업설계 지도 프로그램을 운영하고 있었으며, 진로 및 학업설계 지도는 교육과정 전담 부서에서 주관하거나 담임교사가 주축이 되는 경우가 많은 것으로 나타났다. 반면 담당 교사들의 업무 과중과 담당 인력 부족 등 운영상의 어려움도 파악되었으며, 진로 및 학업설계 지도의 체계적 운영과 역할 분담 등이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 결론 설문 조사 결과를 바탕으로 하여 고교학점제 연구학교의 진로 및 학업설계 지도를 위한 지원 방안으로 교사의 진로·학업설계 지도 전문성 신장과 내실화 지원, 진로 및 학업설계 프로그램 활성화 지원의 두 가지를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study aims to analyze the current situations of guiding career and studies and suggest support plans for high school credit system research schools. Methods It conducted a survey of the guidance of career and studies in high school credit system research schools. It developed three kinds of questionnaire for the first-year, second-year, and third-year research schools, and a total of 84 research schools responded to the survey. Results It presented as the result of the survey first, organization of course completion guidance team, second, implementation of the first year school affairs as career-focusing semester, and third, the person in charge and the current situations of guiding career and studies. As the result, a lot of research schools organized course completion guidance team and curriculum division, various career and studies programs were implemented for first-year high school students, and curriculum division or homeroom teachers led mainly guiding career and studies. However it was analyzed that research schools were struggling from overwork of teachers in charge of guiding career and studies and labor shortages. Conclusions It suggested as the support plans for high school credit system research schools, first, support for teachers’ professional development and substantiality of the guidance of career and studies, and second, support for promoting programs of career and studies.
