국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 유아교사의 자아존중감과 의사소통 유형 간의 관계에서 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 분석하였다. 방법 이를 위하여 경기도 소재 유치원 교사 295명을 대상으로 자아존중감, 회복탄력성, 그리고 의사소통유형에 대한 자료를 수집하고, 구조방정식 모형 분석 실시와 매개효과 검증을 위해 붓스트래핑을 적용했다. 결과 첫째, 유아교사의 자아존중감과 회복탄력성 및 의사소통 유형의 개방형 의사소통 유형 간에는 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 있었으며, 문제형 의사소통 유형과는 유의미한 부적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아교사의 자아존중감은 의사소통 유형인 개방형과 문제형 의사소통 유형에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났고, 회복탄력성은 부분적인 매개효과를 보였다. 결론 이러한 연구결과는 유아교사교육에서 의사소통 역량을 높일 수 있는 방안에 대한 구체적인 시사점을 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study examines the relationship of teacher’s self-esteem, and communication to investigate the mediating effect of resilience. Methods Using the questionnaire survey method targeting 295 teachers working at kindergarten in Gyeonggi Province. Results This study aimed to measure the teacher’s self-esteem, and resilience and examine their effect on the communication. Resilience partially mediated the relationship between teacher’s self-esteem and communication. Teacher’s self-esteem, not only has direct effects on the communication, but has indirect effects on it with the mediation of resilience. Conclusions This study confirms that teacher’s self-esteem and resilience have a positive influence on open communication and a negative influence on problems communication.
