국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 생명과학Ⅰ 유전 단원 연계 장애이해교육이 고등학생의 장애수용태도와 학급응집력에 효과가 있는지 검증하고자 하였다. 방법 이를 위해 서울특별시 영등포구 소재 1개 인문계 고등학교 2학년 4개 학급, 총 107명을 대상으로 하여 실험집단에게는 생명과학Ⅰ 유전 단원 연계 장애이해교육을 매주 2회씩 5주간 총 10회 실시하고, 통제집단에게는 생명과학Ⅰ수업이나 별도의 장애이해교육을 진행하지 않았다. 결과 첫째, 생명과학Ⅰ 유전 단원 연계 장애이해교육을 실시한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 장애수용태도가 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 생명과학Ⅰ 유전 단원 연계 장애이해교육을 실시한 실험집단은 통제집단에 비해 학급응집력이 유의하게 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 결론 이상의 연구결과는 생명과학Ⅰ 유전 단원 연계 장애이해교육이 고등학생의 장애수용태도와 학급응집력에 긍정적인 효과가 있음을 제시하여 교육현장에서 실제적인 교수-학습 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

영문 초록

Objectives This study was intended to conduct the disability-awareness education linked with the chapter of genetics of the subject, Life Science Ⅰ, for high school students and to figure out how it affect the acceptance attitude of disability and the class cohesiveness of them. Methods For this study, 107 students from four classes in the second grade of an academic high school at Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul were selected as the subject of experiment, 51 from two classes for experimental group, and the other 56 for the control group. For the experimental group, the disability-awareness education was conducted 10 times, twice a week for five weeks, and for the control group, only pre- and post- test was conducted, not given any class of Life Science I and the disability-awareness education. Results First, the experimental group that participated in the disability-awareness education linked with the chapter of genetics of in Life ScienceⅠ, showed a meaningful improvement in their acceptance attitude of disability compared to the control group. Second, the experimental group that participated in the disability-awareness education linked with the chapter of genetics in Life ScienceⅠ, showed a meaningful improvement in their acceptance attitude of disability compared to the control group. Conclusions The result of this study makes sure that the disability-awareness education linked with the chapter of genetics in Life ScienceⅠ, has an positive effect on the acceptance attitude of disability and the class cohesiveness of high school students. Therefore it is necessary to extend the continuous education for understanding disabilities using subjects.
