아버지와 영유아 놀이에 관한 국내 연구동향 분석

국문 초록

목적 본 연구는 국내 학술지에 출판된 아버지와 영유아 놀이를 주제로 이루어진 연구동향을 알아보고자 한다. 방법 ‘아버지, 유아 놀이’, ‘아버지, 영아 놀이’, ‘아빠, 유아 놀이’, ‘아빠, 영아 놀이’ 주제어로 RISS, DBpia, KISS, 그리고 KCI 검색엔진에서 2021년 4월 6일에서 4월 13일까지 논문을 수집하였다. 제목, 초록, 전문 검토 단계를 통해 50편의 분석 대상 논문으로 선정하였으며, 연도별, 연구대상별, 연구방법별, 연구주제별로 분석하였다. 결과 첫째, 영유아 놀이와 관련된 아버지를 주제로 하는 연구는 1998년부터 처음 발간되었고. 이후 드문드문 이루어지다가 2013년부터 급증하면서 현재까지 매해 지속해서 이루어졌다. 둘째, 아버지와 영유아를 동시에 대상으로 한 연구가 제일 먼저 시작되었으며, 가장 많이 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 이 외 대상으로 이루어진 연구는 특정 시기 동안에만 한번 혹은 두 번 이루어졌으며, 그 논문 편수 또한 1~3편 정도로 적게 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 관련 연구는 대부분 양적연구 방법으로 이루어졌으며, 2013년부터 2017년 사이에 소수이지만 질적연구와 혼합연구의 연구방법의 다양화가 이루어졌다. 넷째, 주제별 분석결과, 영유아 발달과 관련된 아버지 놀이관계, 영유아 놀이와 관련된 아버지 개인 변인 관계, 영유아-아버지 놀이 실태 및 인식, 아버지와 영유아 놀이를 촉진하는 활동 및 프로그램, 영유아 아버지 놀이 특성과 아버지 역할에 관한 연구로 구분하였다. 그 결과, 영유아발달과 관련된 아버지 놀이 관계를 주제로 한 연구가 가장 많이 이루어졌으며, 2013년부터 2017년 사이에 아버지와 영유아 놀이에 관한 연구의 양적인 증가와 함께 주제가 다양해진 것으로 나타났다. 결론 아버지와 영유아 놀이에 관한 연구는 아버지의 양육참여의 실제적인 증가 및 2019년 개정누리과정에서 유아의 자유 놀이 강조가 이루어지고 있는 상황에서 계속 증가할 것으로 예상된다. 이에 따라, 아버지와 영유아 자녀 놀이에 관한 연구방법의 다양화의 필요성, 다양한 세부 주제에 관한 연구 필요성 등의 후속 연구에 대한 논의가 이루어졌다.

영문 초록

Objectives The purpose of this study is to conduct the research trends made up of the theme of fathers and their young children’s play published in domestic academic journals. Methods The key words ‘father, young children play’, ‘father, infant play’, ‘dad, young children play’, ‘dad, infant play’ were searched, on the Korean online database system such as RISS, DBpia, Kiss, and KCI, to collect the relevant publications from April 6th to April 13th, 2021. The 50 final articles were analyzed by year, research subject, research method, and research topic. Results First, research on fathers related to their children’s play was first published in 1998. Since then, it has been done sporadically, but it has increased steadily since 2013, and has continued every year until now. Second, the largest number of studies were conducted on, as a subject, fathers and their young children at the same time, which were published for the first time. Studies with other subjects were conducted only once or twice during a specific period, and the number of studies was also found to be as small as one to three. Third, most of the research was done quantitatively, and between 2013 and 2017, although a small number, the research methods including qualitative research and mixed research were diversified. Fourth, the largest number of studies were conducted on the father’s play related to the children’s development. From 2013 to 2017, it was found that the subjects were diversified with the increase in the quantity of research on the play of fathers and their young children. Conclusions Based on the results of this study, research on the play with fathers and their children is expected to continue to increase in the context of the actual increase in fathers parenting participation and the emphasis on children s free play in the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum. Accordingly, the study suggests the future studies for better understanding of fathers and their children’s play such as studies to use diverse research methods and those about various specific topics.
